We’re seeking both Type Rated and Non‑Type Rated Pilots to operate our modern Boeing 737‑800 fleet, connecting New Zealand to the Qantas network. Flight Hour Requirements: 1,500 hours total flight time in an aeroplane 500 hours powered fixed‑wing multi‑engine or single‑engine turbine time. Plus, one of the following: 250 hours command on fixed‑wing aircraft, OR 250 hours command (up to 180 hours ICUS) and 500 hours as co‑pilot on a transport category aircraft. Minimum Qualifications (or ability to obtain before starting): Australian CASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A) CPL holders require passes in all Australian CASA or NZ CAA ATPL subjects. CASA Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D/3D Instrument Approach endorsements. Current MEA Instrument Proficiency Check. Level 6 English Language Proficiency on your CASA licence. Current CASA Class 1 Medical. Eligibility for both ASIC (Australia) and AvSec (NZ) security clearances. Valid passport with at least 12 months’ validity. Legal right to live and work in New Zealand without restriction. Non‑NZ/Australian passport holders must hold NZ Permanent Residency.
