What you’ll be doing: The Virgin Australia airport and workplace facilities (hangars, offices, airports and training centres) are largely third-party owned properties – usually in airports – where Virgin lease space. Working as part of a small team, this role will be responsible for the planning and delivery of commercial strategies in relation to the property leases for the Virgin Australia Group. The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for developing and negotiating real estate portfolio leasing strategies on behalf of Virgin, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver optimal commercial property results. This role requires a high level of autonomy and sound judgment to independently drive and manage commercial real estate leasing outcomes. As a niche position within Virgin, it demands sharp commercial acumen to effectively negotiate with challenging landlords and an understanding of property law and compliance.
