Purpose of the role The Crew Short Term Planner oversees and recovers the published crew roster, ensuring efficiency, compliance with regulations, and driving system and process improvements. Responsibilities - Recovering crew schedule and line training plan after operational disruptions outside the 72-hour window - Planning crew routes based on the schedule and duty rules - Optimizing the crew roster to ensure the highest crew productivity while adhering to safety and compliance requirements - Taking responsibility for roster fatigue and the wellbeing of crew members - Leading process and system improvement initiatives - Managing cross-functional projects in cooperation with various stakeholders (Crew Control, Crew Planning, Cabin and Flight Operations, Training, Human Resources) - Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including duty and flight time limitations and Fatigue Risk Management Experience - Experience with AIMS Crew and Ops systems is required - Knowledge of working rules, limitations, and rest requirements is a must Hard skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of crew scheduling regulations and systems Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is advantageous Language Fluent spoken and written English Skills and competencies - Growth mindset and can-do attitude - Ability to synthesize information into actionable recommendations - Good oral and written presentation skills - Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills ---
