Division Controller Based in Budapest Purpose of the role The Division Controller will have responsibility for all financial planning and controlling related to a particular business unit and is expected to deliver best-in-class forecasting, financial analysis, and insights while driving relentless process improvement and cost reduction. Responsibilities The main focus of the role will be to take responsibility for all financial planning and controlling related to a particular business unit within the company.  This includes: - Developing the annual budget and three-year plan and updating the monthly forecast - Promoting Wizz Air’s ultra-low-cost values by driving and tracking transformative cost-saving initiatives - Providing oversight of financial control processes - Leading performance and accountability meetings with senior management to present the latest trends and analysis - Contributing to month close activities, reporting, and analysis - Supporting the Head of Department, CFO and wider Leadership Team with impactful financial analysis Experience - 3-5+ years overall working experience with 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a finance or controlling role - Airline experience or experience with a maintenance provider is a strong plus Hard skills - Strong technical understanding of accounting principles - Proficient user of Microsoft Excel - Knowledge of IFRS standards is an advantage - Experience with SQL databases and Power BI is an advantage Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in economics, finance, or accounting Language Fluent in English (both written and spoken) Skills and competencies - Excellent analytical skills - Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder requests in a fast-paced environment - Hard-working with a can-do attitude - Strong presentation skills When applying, please only provide valid information regarding your educational background and certificates, as the original documents will be requested during the hiring process.
