Summary / Purpose This role, within the Inflight Dining Culinary team in Customer Experience, provides analytical and operational support for the inflight retail program to help achieve revenue, customer experience, and operational reliability objectives. The position develops performance measurement frameworks and delivers actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making, while identifying opportunities to enhance service execution, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities - As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations. - Develop and maintain demand forecasting models to optimize inventory levels, reduce spoilage and stockouts, and improve overall retail program performance - Establish performance measurement frameworks to track Flight Attendant adoption, customer satisfaction, operational reliability, and financial results - Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including item performance, forecast accuracy, spoilage, stockouts, catering accuracy, and retail conversion metrics - Build and manage standardized dashboards that provide stakeholders with clear visibility into financial, operational, and customer experience performance - Analyze customer purchasing behavior, product performance, offer mix effectiveness, and price sensitivity to inform menu, pricing, and assortment decisions - Develop predictive analytics and demand models to support inventory planning, product deployment, and revenue growth initiatives - Partner with Finance to validate business cases, quantify P&L impacts, and measure program profitability - Create end-to-end reporting and dashboard solutions for onboard retail performance across mileage bands, markets, product categories, and catering locations - Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to cross-functional partners, including Customer Experience, Inflight Dining Operations, Inflight Service, Catering, Digital, Procurement, and Finance - Support strategic initiatives, process enhancements, and cross-functional projects that drive scalability, operational efficiency, and an improved customer experience - Standardize reporting methodologies and performance metrics to enable informed decision-making and support long-term growth of the inflight retail program Minimum Qualifications - Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience - 3 years of analytical and performance measurement or relevant experience - Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience - 3 to 4 years of analytical and performance measurement or relevant experience - Skills, Licenses, and Certifications - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable business insights - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data reporting tools, and performance measurement methodologies - Knowledge of retail operations, customer experience strategy, and operational performance management - Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making - Ability to manage multiple priorities, execute projects independently, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams - Certifications in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus Preferred Qualifications - Not stated (not separately listed on this posting) Benefits / Compensation (if stated) - Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
